The possible blowing up of the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant (HPP) in the Kherson Region will pose a great threat to the operation of power units of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant (NPP), Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the of the Zaporozhye administration, told Sputnik.
“If the Kiev regime decides to sabotage and destroy the dam of the Kakhovka HPP, this will lead to a drop in the water level in the Kakhovka reservoir, and as a result, the cooling system of the Zaporozhye NPP will not be able to collect volumes required for cooling reactors and other necessary technological processes. All this poses a serious threat to the operation of the power units,” Rogov said.
